About

I am a folk dance performer and choreographer from Ukraine. I arrived in Canada in February 2022, and I am now living in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

I have been dancing since childhood, and, for the past 10 years, I have specialized in Caucasian, Central Asian, and Crimean dance.

I graduated from the National Academy of Arts and Culture Management with an Hon. Master's of Choreography and Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University with an Hon. Master's of Human Physiology.

I have over 8 years' teaching and creative experience with groups and individuals. As a stage performer, I am well known for my expressive acting skills and unique arms plasticity.

For many years, I researched folk dances in an integrative way, taking into consideration history, ethnography, and mythology. This is why my solo dance performances contain deep psychological content and an emphasis on immersion in epochs when folk dances were developed by humanity.

While performing and teaching, I discovered the great impact that these dancing styles have on female consciousness and physiology. In particular, I believe that expressive folk dances have a strong influence on feminine energy and flexibility of mind.
